 Now relax and prepare to be entertained at our late night performance   with our guest vocal soloist Jeff Cramer,  and the St. Joseph Municipal Big Band, playing your favorite big band music tonight from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m.  
Tomorrow, the final Labor Day concerts of the season will feature Gary Cooper with a trombone solo, and the Lakeshore High School Lancerette’s Pom Pom Squad, and a very special guest conductor.

Guest Performers Today

 Alan Mitchell is an Assistant Professor of Music at Andrews University. His teaching responsibilities include the Wind Symphony and music education courses for the B.M. and M.M. in Music Education degrees.  Mr. Mitchell holds both a B.A. degree and M.A. degrees in Music from California State University at Long Beach. He is currently a candidate for a D.M.A. degree in Wind Conducting/Music Education at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. His major conducting professors were Eugene Corporon and Dr. Mallory Thompson. He has received additional conducting studies from Michael Haithcock, Ron Johnson, John Whitwell, and Allan McMurray Jeff Cramer is from Mishawaka, IN.  He is beginning his fifth year as director of choirs at NorthWood High School in Nappanee, IN.  Jeff completed his musical studies at Bethel College, receiving degrees in both Music Education and Vocal Performance.  He has extensive experience as a vocal soloist, as well as in musical theatre.  Jeff has performed on numerous local and regional stages, including Bethel College and the Amish Acres Round Barn Theatre.  Jeff and his wife Kristin are actively involved in their church music ministry.
